Which utensils need kalai?
Brass and copper utensils used for cooking or eating, especially for sour food. Kansa (bell metal) needs no kalai.
How much does kalai cost?
It depends on the size and condition of each utensil. Send your order on WhatsApp and we call you with the price.
How do I know it needs re-tinning?
When the bright white lining has worn through and the yellow or copper metal shows inside.
Can I bring utensils bought elsewhere?
Our kalai service is for utensils purchased from our showroom. We customise the kalai for every kind of brass and copper utensil we sell.
Can I exchange an item after kalai?
No. Items that have had kalai coating on request can’t be exchanged. See our Return & Exchange Policy.
