These Terms & Conditions apply to everyone who uses www.bagalacharankundu.com or buys from Bagala Charan Kundu, online, by phone or at our store. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

2. Products and descriptions

 

Our products are made from natural metals and many are handcrafted. Small differences in colour, finish, weight, size and pattern from the photos are normal and are not defects.

Photos are for reference. Screen settings can change how colours look. We try to describe every item accurately, but we cannot promise that every detail on the website is free of errors.

 

3. Prices and payment

 

All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR). [Prices include GST unless stated otherwise.] Delivery charges, if any, are shown before you pay.

We may change prices at any time. The price that applies is the one shown when you place your order.

Online payments are handled by a third-party payment gateway. We do not see or store your full card or bank details. In the store we accept [cash, UPI and cards].

 

4. Orders

 

An order is confirmed only when we accept it and send you a confirmation. We may refuse or cancel an order if an item is out of stock, the price or description was wrong, or the order looks fraudulent. If we cancel after you have paid, we refund you in full.

You can cancel an order [before it is dispatched] by calling or emailing us.

 

5. Delivery

 

We deliver [across India]. Delivery times shown are estimates and can be affected by the courier, weather, holidays or other events outside our control.

Please check your parcel when it arrives. If it is damaged, tell us within [48 hours] with photos, as explained in our Return Policy.

 

6. Kalai and care

 

Brass and copper cookware must have a kalai (tin) lining before it is used with sour or acidic food. Kalai wears off with use and needs to be redone every 6 to 8 months. Please follow the care and cleaning advice on our website. We are not responsible for damage or health issues caused by using unlined or worn-out cookware, or by incorrect cleaning.

 

7. Returns and refunds

 

Returns, exchanges and refunds follow our Return Policy.

 

8. Use of the website

 

You agree not to misuse the website, try to break its security, or copy its content for commercial use.

All text, photos, logos and designs on this website belong to Bagala Charan Kundu or are used with permission. You may not copy or reuse them without our written permission.

The website may link to other sites, such as Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

 

9. Limitation of liability

 

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect losses.

Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled by the courts in Kolkata, West Bengal.
